Teaching Secondary Science in London
We are looking for good, qualified, science teachers with experience of working within the UK or similar education system.
Recent years have seen a huge emphasis placed upon science as a core element of the school curriculum. Todays Secondary Science teachers require multiple skills to teach science at schools in London and the United Kingdom. These skills include; effective communication in the science classroom; creating interesting and well planned practical work; developing creative, theoretical aspect of science and creating an environment for the communication of ideas and how pupils learn to participate in the discourse of the scientific community. Science teachers require these teaching skills in order to create a lesson plan in which students are motivated to learn science.

Your CV is your only marketing tool. We find CV's with the following attributes are the most succesful at finding jobs.
- Your most recent Science teaching experience should be at the top of your CV - if schools see you as inexperienced then they will not want to part with as much money for your services - so you get paid less!
- Your CV should be brief and to the point and designed to show your best points quickly. Two pages maximum please.
- For each job use bullet points to highlight at least 3 extra special aspects of your performance in the role e.g extra help you gave the Head of Department writing a scheme of work, or attending a course on 'improving performance in afro-caribbean boys'.
- Keep extra curricular activities to a minimum unless relevant to education or very, very impressive (Olympic swimming Bronze or above).
