which is a Catholic voluntary aided comprehensive school for girls. Consistently oversubscribed, the school takes pupils from a wide geographical area. At 16-19, the school is a partner in the local sixth form consortium and offers places to a limited number of boys. This partnership offers a broad curriculum to our students.
LSU provides a full life: there is challenging work in the classroom and in the laboratory, competition in sports, creative fulfilment in art, drama and music, enjoyment in extended curricular activities including travel abroad. It is a Christian community where those who gain most are those who contribute most in terms of energy and commitment.
