is at an exciting phase of development, with exam results at both GCSE and Key Stage 3 rising faster than any other school in our area. Students at Westwood are drawn from our local community. They are of all abilities but have one thing in common- they are passionate about all kinds of learning!
In recent years the facilities at Westwood have been remodelled and upgraded to provide for example the latest ICT facilities and science laboratories, but we have not lost the small and friendly family school atmosphere which our students, staff and parents value. Many of our students are second-generation families who can recall through the experiences of their parents, aunts or cousins the former glories of the College. Through these contacts we keep in touch with our graduates, celebrate their achievements and maintain a lively link with the past.
