is the only bilateral school in Bexley. We take Grammar pupils and non-selective pupils and teach them according to their educational needs. Pupils from the same family do not have to be sent to different schools. We are committed to raising the educational standards of all our pupils. We recognise that different pupils learn at different speeds and that many pupils become better at learning as they progress through the school.
It is common at Erith School for some non-selective pupils to catch up with our Grammar stream pupils. These pupils are then transferred to the Grammar stream classes and they are also stretched to achieve top grades in public examinations. We set pupils in appropriate subjects and provide curriculum support for those pupils who need it most.
We are very keen to ensure basic literacy and numeracy standards are achieved quickly and push all pupils to focus on public examination success. We value all pupils equally.
