has a distinctive ethos and specialist curriculum emphasis: technology. All our subject areas have Technology College Status targets that they must achieve.
Our success in each area contributes to the development of our college as a place of high achievement, producing confident young adults well equipped for further study and work.
The status of a Technology College allows us to offer an increasing number of vocational courses. We'll extend our Accelerated Learning Programmes and early entry for GCSEs. Those students who pass their GCSEs early will, then, be able to benefit from something very special - additional GCSE courses and AS and A level courses that would only usually be open to them after they left our college.
By developing and strengthening our links with local primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, community groups, businesses and services, we'll also benefit our area on a much wider scale.
