Students have access to a wide range of courses and the requirements of the national curriculum are fully met in all key stages. All students are prepared for public examinations including GCSE, GNVQ,A/S level, A level and AVCE.
Our team of well-qualified and enthusiastic staff offer pupils the
following subjects:
In Key Stage 3,Years 7–9, students study: English, Mathematics, Science,
Technology, Information Technology, A Modern Foreign Language (such as
French or Spanish), Art, Drama, Music, History, Geography, Religious Education,
Physical Education.
In Key Stage 4,Years 10–11, all students study: English, Mathematics, Science,
Technology, Religious Education, Physical Education.
Plus students should choose two other subjects from the following:
Business Studies, GNVQ IT, R.E. GCSE, French or Spanish, History, Geography, Art, Drama,
Music, P.E. GCSE,Youth Award.
In Key Stage 5,Years 12–13 known as The Sixth Form, students make choices based on prior
learning and qualifications already gained.There is a diverse range of courses on offer.
