is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school situated in a residential area of South Tottenham bordering the edge of Stamford Hill and adjacent to Markfield Park which backs onto the River Lea. It is well served by bus, tube and rail transport.
The school occupies a large site which has undergone total refurbishment. Each block has specialist accommodation and has been re-equipped with new furniture, blinds and carpets.
Most buildings are substantially built and house classrooms and corridors of a generous size. We recently completed an extensive building and redecoration programme under a PFI scheme at the school. This together with our successful bid for a City Learning Centre to house ICT has transformed the accommodation and facilities to a superb standard.
The staff and students are proud of the school and visitors are always impressed by the cheerful, supportive atmosphere in the school and the positive links with the community. We are frequently congratulated on the quality of display, the calm atmosphere and absence of vandalism and graffiti.
