Our examination results have been outstanding with AS and A-level, GCSE and GNVQ pass rates above national averages each year. Students from a wide ability range all achieve well.

Our students are both challenged and supported so that we prepare them well for the worlds of higher education and employment.  It is of paramount importance to us that students are given excellent guidance about their future options and are enabled to compete for the best universities and jobs. About 85 per cent of the advanced level students go on to higher education.

Our hallmark is the emphasis on the individual. William Morris Sixth Form is small enough for all students to feel part of a community and for staff to know them well. Our tutorial system is designed to ensure maximum support for each student in their learning, their personal development and their career planning.

We want our students to enjoy their time with us, pursue new interests and develop a life-long love of learning. Above all we want them to be successful.

Since it opened in 1994 the William Morris Sixth Form has confidently built upon its success as an ‘academy of learners and achievers'. It offers a superb range of courses, excellent facilities and very high standards of teaching and tutoring. In January 2002, we became England's first 16-19 school.

We welcome students regardless of whether they are resident in Hammersmith & Fulham, although we have particularly close relationships with four schools in the borough and act as their sixth form:

We maintain a broad and varied curriculum, yet the environment is small and friendly, enabling staff to identify and respond to individual needs. Courses include over 30 AS and A-level courses, applied (vocational) A-levels, one-year GCSEs and GNVQs at foundation and intermediate levels. Our aim is to provide suitable and exciting courses for all students who wish to apply. All learning programmes include teaching of literacy and ICT.

We have well-equipped teaching facilities and access for disabled people. A large learning resource centre combines a library and ICT suite, and additional computer facilities are provided in the majority of classrooms. The original building has been expanded to provide studios for digital photography, art, dance and drama. A further extension, providing enhanced facilities for science courses, opened in 2004.

Student facilities include a self-service cafeteria and comfortable reception area. We also offer a full programme of sports and leisure opportunities.
